Let me introduce myself ...

I am a freelance copywriter, editor, videographer, and communications specialist who provides ​hands-on support to companies, agencies, organisations, and individuals.

I am originally British, but I now have Belgian nationality. I have spent most of my career overseas ​and have lived and worked in the Middle East, the Far East, and, for the past 25 years, in Brussels, ​Belgium.

I am a former daily newspaper journalist and TV news reporter who later moved into public relations ​and marketing communications.

I began my career as a regional daily newspaper journalist in the United Kingdom. I subsequently ​moved to the Middle East, where I was the founding editor of one of the first English-language daily ​newspapers in the region, the Gulf News (www.gulfnews.com/)

I have since worked for several leading global public relations consultancies in Europe and the Far ​East, including Shandwick, Nexus, Burson-Marsteller (now Burson), Porter Novelli, and SEC Newgate ​EU.

I now work as an independent consultant doing the hands-on work I most enjoy. My clients benefit ​from my years of experience, but at very reasonable rates and without big agency overheads.

Videography is now my passion, but the art of good writing is still my top skill.
